THE OLD VILLAGE SCHOOL
WOOTTON ISLE OF WIGHT
The old village school was built in 1873, and was originally located on New Road. The trustees were the Minister and Churchwardens of Arreton. It was an all-age school until it then became a County Primary school in 1953. The school then relocated to a purpose built, partly open plan building in 1969 on Church Road.

We have recently completed a whole school building refurbishment, which has modernised the school building and also added a new kitchen/food tech room.

Our ambitious plans are to establish a centre designed to nurture the holistic health of our community members. With a focus on access and inclusion both mental and physical wellbeing, we aim to provide a diverse range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
Offering a variety of wellness workshops and classes to providing access to support groups and social prescription services, our goal is to create an accessible nurturing environment which everyone can thrive. Through collaboration with local healthcare professionals and organisations, we aspire to become a trusted resource for promoting health and happiness in our community. Our kitchen fully equipped commercial kitchen stands ready to cater to your culinary endeavours, whether it's hosting cooking workshops or preparing delicious meals for your commercial needs.
Our studio room provides a peaceful more intimate space for yoga or meditation, while also intending to accommodate a recording facility, projector and relaxing TV/gaming space all inviting you to engage, teach, present or to unwind and recharge.
Meetings room/main office upstairs available for hire/use. Equipped with comfortable seating in an ambient and private space.
Our main hall serves as a grand setting for larger classes, performances, and workshops. Highly adaptable with seating and tables and our intended staging and lighting and sound control options for performances and presentations.
